Kaif, a native Hong Konger, lived abroad for three years before relocating to the British capital. She started out as a child model and went on to make a career out of the industry. In London, at a fashion show, she caught the eye of Indian director Kaizad Gustad, who cast her in his upcoming film Boom (2003). Katrina has a highly successful career in the Hindi film industry.
