That never used to be a problem until it became necessary to level that large

days hours remaining

Players loudly complain every time a skill is made easier because it"cheapens" the match. Zezima stopped as things were too easy for newer players, and he wasn't alone. I'd like to see a debate on how this could be fixed without wrecking the game. Can it be an impossible solution? I believe not. Here are my thoughts: Add worthwhile content in the bottom up. When there isn't any content in levels 70-99 of Herblore, add stuff from level 70 upward, not 99 downwards. Skills must take longer to level, but not 10 times as much. That never used to be a problem until it became necessary to level that large. . .now it is for many people since there's actually content up there. Somehow, there has to be a means of earning mid level content look more worthwhile and not merely a means to an end (high level content) but I am not sure what that would be.

A likely modest portion of the neighborhood does really play for the mill and sense of achievement. Largely the individuals aiming for 200m skills, they gain nothing in the procedure generally by way of content and enjoy playing. You can go kill bandos for 200 kills/trip? Why? The single end game I consider runescape having is player killing, which is not so alluring to many.

I just don't see why folks set content-related goals, this game has such inferior content in fact. Unless, of course, you enjoy questing, but by 70+ abilities you can essentially have quest cape and that requires very few hours relatively speaking. Making the game easier would ruin the game for me, personally, since most updates do. It's simple enough already tbh, all you need is time. Dungeoneering is not even much of a"skill" skill, because you are reliant on 4 other individuals skills as well. In case Jagex made solo dungeoneering around 350k exp/hr, I think that it becomes a skill-skill. Article may have just been a mess of unorganized thoughts by my primary point is that: I think that if you remove the grind you eliminate a good deal of the match.

Also to create more apparent again, I'm stating that runescape has no really good endgame apart from personal achievement, when you take the achievement you simply take out the match tbh. Some fair points made here, particularly about removing huge chunks of the sport as well as the needlessness of content goals. However, I would disagree with your quest point: it may have been the case after, but it isn't any more a player in 70+ may perform all of the quests. Since quests are my motivation to raise skills, this is significant, as I've noticed a major increase in the number of skills I need to raise and the height they need to achieve: a pursuit cape will need: 76 defence, constitution, mining, woodcutting, and crafting; 77 Ability; 78 assault and strength; 80 magical; 74 smithing, thieving, and firemaking.
